Palm Beach Pay-to-Players: Jeffrey Epstein, Lois Frankel

SIMULTANEOUSLY, the Epstein case and Palm Beach County “pay-to-play” scandals were investigated by the FBI, Federal Attorney John Kastrenakes, with Barry Krischer. The damage from State Attorney Barry Krischer’s intentional mishandling of both, high profile FBI/Grand Jury cases continues in 2026. Krischer’s priority was not the annoying wealthy pedophile paying high school girls, but his lifelong best friends intertwined in the biggest political corruption scandal – with one seeking reelection.

PUPPETMASTER:

Today, few more than the original three know, the infamous Defense Attorney Richard Lubin was the puppetmaster. In Lubin’s tribute to Abbie Hoffman and ultimate challenge: Evil Pedophile, Corrupt Politicians versus the United States Government, DOJ.

RICHARD LUBIN WON another “heinous crime case”, this time a felony battery case for construction business owner Dan Catalfumo. After assisting Lubin, Attorneys Jack Goldberger and Jason Weiss join Epstein defense. Managing media inquiries was Prosecutor Krischer’s assistant Mike Edmondson who was ALSO Lois Frankel’s Campaign Manager.

Where it all started ...

BROOKLYNITE CONFLICTS:

BROOKLYN, NY: childhood friends Barry Krischer and Richard Lubin later met Lois Frankel

POWER PLAYERS:

Lubin and Frankel in Palm Beach County are often in the news

DEFYING City Charter, Mayor Lois Frankel ordered construction plans for $50 million City Center, tax-payer funded project, but increased it to $150million without approval nor residents input. West Palm Beach Voters won lawsuits against Lois, yet Frankel ignored Court Orders and moved forward.

PAY-TO-PLAY: Lois Frankel decided which developers / builders participated in the biggest project in County history based on donations to her reelection; “pay-to-play”. Lois Frankel has three Court losses, including Supreme Court, fighting her Voters, who wanted input on their City’s relocation, redesign, tripled budget and restructure, Frankel hides her name in Corruption Court Cases.

ROE V WADE Tribute: Lois Frankel aka John Roe, TODAY still appears on Court Cases website hiding Lois Frankel’s name

Political corruption cases are mandatory Federal Investigations

FBI, Alex Acosta DOJ sends additional agents from Miami to Palm Beach County

Lennar Homes settles land scandal lawsuit, catches FBI attention.

HENCHMEN: FL State Rep Mary Brandenburg one of many “henchmen” of donations for Lois Frankel’s reelection Campaign. Brandenburg leaves voice message; if you want things to go smoother in Northwood, bring your checkbook to meet with Lois,. The Northwood neighborhood leader, unaware Feds were already investigating local politicians, gave bribe voice msg to FBI.

FEDS SHIFT FOCUS: from Masilotti and Liberti to corruption claims about Lois Frankel, WPB City workers, County Commissioners. The Palm Beach County Construction industry had over 50 subpoenaed witnesses telling same pay-to-play patterns, for the Mayor’s reelection. Businesses also told of funds laundered thru Chamber of Commerce when Chair Wendy Sartory Link managed, after father Larry Sartory retired.

LOIS FRANKEL SEEKS COVER from friend State Attny Prosecutor Barry Krischer. Frankel pretends to the public, that she requested the confidential Federal investigation of her government offices. Barry Krischer portrays his own hybrid State investigation to “shadow” and stay involved with Federal Attorney John Kastrenakes’ pay-to-play case on Lois Frankel. The Palm Beach local legal community agreed with curious reporters, unusual that Mayor Lois Frankel often spoke to media about a Grand Jury investigation – normally confidential.

UNPRECEDENTED: Instead of standard criminal trial for Jeffrey Epstein, State Prosecutor Barry Krischer uniquely went the confidential route; a State Grand Jury proceeding. Managing media inquiries was Mike Edmondson Krischer’s assistant, and Mayor Lois Frankel’s Campaign Manager.

THE FIRST FAILURE: Town of Palm Beach Police Chief Reiter contacted the FBI, frustrated due to State Attorney Krischer’s stalling and mismanaging Epstein case. In response, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida Alex Acosta, instructs his Federal Attorney John Kastrenakes to also work with Barry Krischer on the Epstein case. Kastrenakes was already coordinating his Palm Beach County corruption Federal investigation with Barry Krischer joining in with a parallel.

Simultaneously Federal Attorney John Kastrenakes worked the Epstein case and Palm Beach County “pay-to-play” scandals with Barry Krischer. The stories were often covered by Palm Beach Post and other media, often printed same day, same page yet reporters did not notice more overlaps.

WITHOUT GIVING REASONS, prosecutor Krischer often rescheduled court dates, finally a 48 hr notice was given to victims, allowing only two victims out of dozens to abruptly appear from places around the country. The tactic extremely upset the Town of Palm Beach Police Chief Reiter, his detectives and department.

BARRY KRISCHER STALLED EPSTEIN AND FRANKEL cases several months for Lois Frankel to seek reelection in March 2007. Emulating Barry’s mentor Richard Lubin’s playbook, Jack Goldberger and Jason Weiss, were abruptly hired by Jeffrey Epstein. The stunt allowed Krischer to remove Jason Weiss’ wife, the Asst. State Attny Dahlia Weiss. Barry Krischer’s goal was to replace Mrs. Weiss with a “stronger” female prosecutor Lanna Belohlavek to cross examine Epstein’s female victims.

Criticized for the Epstein plea, Prosecutor Krischer attempted to prove no favoritism by also being lenient with Jason Shenfield. After female sex assault victims with similar, bizarre police reports were dismissed by Krischer, defendant Jason Shenfield soon murdered local sportstar Amanda Buckley.

Palm Beach Post criticized State Attorney Barry Krischer for Amanda Buckley’s July 2007 murder

FEELING UNSTOPPABLE: Lois Frankel attempts to change City Charter to NO Term Limits, same as Chicago “strong-Mayor” form of government. But investigative journalists at Palm Beach Post called her out.

West Palm Beach Mayors Jeri Muoio, Keith James and their endorsed three years early, “Christened” Lambert, carry on the “corruption culture” in 2025, amplified exponentially by developer Stephen Ross given control of West Palm Beach and massive CRA funds, by Mayor Keith James.

Gov. Charlie Crist awards John Kastrenakes with appointment, Judge Palm Beach 15th Circuit in May 2009.

Unaware of the infamous Judge, Bobby Powell forced the controversial Kastrenakes to not seek reelection in 2022, after Powell reported the Judge’s low integrity comments. The no-term limit Congresswoman Lois Frankel joined in the complaint against, still not appreciating the prior Federal Attorney who worked with Krischer to not indict Frankel but who could not change facts nor witness testimonies against Lois in the “pay-to-play”

"Power Tends to Corrupt, and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely"
-  Lord Acton, British historian

Acton warned, unlimited power encourages immoral behavior and abuse, even in the best people.  The times without checks and balances, those in authority are tempted to prioritize personal gain and exercise control without regard for consequences, leading to widespread corruption and harm.
